First Cast Interviews Released for NT Live's Angels in America

Meet the cast of The National Theatre’s production of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia!!!  The National Theatre has just posted a series of videos about the upcoming revival, including a teaser-trailer, full cast introduction, and the very first cast interviews.  


Angels in America is written by Tony Kushner and takes place at the height of the AIDS crisis in the mid 1980s.  It follows the lives of New Yorkers as they grapple with life and death, love and sex, and heaven and hell.  


The two part play, which is directed by Olivier and Tony Award winner, Marianne Elliott (Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and War Horse), will stream live to cinemas around the world with Part I: Millennium Approaches playing on July 20th, and Part 2: Perestroika, one week later on July 27th.
